Big Bend National Park is located along the bend in the Rio Grande as it winds through stunning canyons on the Texas-Mexico border. The park also has the only mountain range entirely within a national park: the Chisos Mountains, which rise abruptly out of the Chihuahuan Desert like an island in the sky.
