Originally called Mukuntuweap, Zion National Park is sometimes referred to as "Yosemite in technicolor" and features a number of splendid, red rock canyons, photogenic waterfalls, and impressive arches; including Zion Canyon, the Narrows, the Subway, Emerald Pool Falls, and Kolob Arch: the second longest arch in the United States, at 287 feet long.
