Located just west of Seattle, Olympic National Park is like three parks in one, with snow-capped peaks, luxuriant rain forests, and island-studded coasts. The park’s highest point, the glaciated Mt. Olympus, was named after the Greek mountain which was the mythic home of the pantheon of ancient Greek goddesses and gods.
